DESCRIPTION:
The Web Developer Intern is primarily responsible for developing and maintaining front-end code for high-volume, high-traffic end-user facing websites. Collaborating with Engineering, Product, Design, Marketing, QA, Operations and Editorial teams. Working from PSD designs and/or written specifications, the Associate Web Developer is responsible for the development of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP. This position requires excellent communication skills, along with good organization and collaboration abilities.
Responsibilities
- Update and maintain website content
- Update and troubleshoot website functionality
- Work with a designer to establish and refine visual elements
- Update documentation
- Perform site audits
- Analyze site information
- Write reports
Requirements
- Pursuing an education in Computer Science
- Able to work independently and as a member of a team
- Proficient with Visual Studio writing C#, HTML, and CSS
- Familiar with web architecture and standards
- Able to take direction and follow established coding guidelines and standards
- A curious mind and good problem-solving skills
